Gumball Machines

Several members of the team restored two old gumball machines, which now reside in the workshop and provide nourishment to famished students and team members. For a quarter, students may buy a gumball or a handful of Skittles or M&Ms. This fundraiser allows continuous income without requiring extensive labor.

Call local junkyards or grocery stores. You never know what you can find.

M&Ms, Skittles, and gumballs are cheap when bought en masse from stores such as BJ's and Sam's Club. We buy large bags for about $1.00 apiece, and as each handful of candy costs students $0.25 apiece, we have a large net profit.
