In 2011, we volunteered to take over responsibility for the Freshman-Sophomore Social. We organized and hosted a successful dance that not only brought in useful income but was also very enjoyable to guests.

You will be more successful if you deliver this in person.
Security guards and Chaperones
A DJ (we hired one for a cheap $70/hour; you may know someone who DJs as a hobby and will do it for free)
Volunteers to set up and man food tables
